Oregon has no fixed statewide due date for its yearly filing. Your company has its own date, and it is the anniversary of the original filing. The Secretary of State's Corporation Division calls the filing an annual report or a renewal, and an LLC pays $100 for it.
Filing is online through the Oregon Business Registry. This page covers who pays what, how the date works and what the form asks. The Oregon office guide covers the rest of the division's work.
When is your Oregon renewal due?
The rule is short. The renewal is due on the anniversary date of the original filing. Form a company on March 8 and the report comes due each March 8 after that.
The state sends the renewal notice automatically about 45 days ahead. Do not rely on it alone. Notices go to the mailing address or email on your record, and a stale address means a missed notice. Check the Next Renewal Date on your own record at the top of the Business Name Search result.

How to file the Oregon annual report
- Open the Oregon Business Registry from the Secretary of State's renewal page.
- Find your company and choose the renewal.
- Fill in only the sections that changed. The system shows required entries as you go.
- Pay online.
- Look for the email that confirms the filing. It comes with a filed copy attached.
Online filings are reviewed starting within one business day and take one to three business days. Mail and fax take several days.
What the form asks for
You update the business activity description, the mailing address for notices and the principal place of business. You also confirm the registered agent, who needs an Oregon street address that is not a PO Box, a mail forwarding business or a virtual office. An LLC lists at least one member or manager. A corporation lists a president and a secretary.
The name cannot change here. A change of name needs an amendment, filed and paid for on its own.
Missing the date
Oregon marks a record that is no longer registered as Inactive. An administrative dissolution by the Corporation Division is one way to get there. Only Active records show in the standard search, so a company that slips may seem to vanish from it.
Every status word Oregon uses is explained in our Oregon office guide.
Reinstatement is available, usually online. Check the Reinstate a Business page for the reinstatement fee and any missed annual fees. Our guide to filing an annual report shows how other states handle late filing.
If you want help, you can ask our private filing service. State fees are separate, and you can renew at the state yourself.
