Nevada UCC records are kept by the Secretary of State, and the filing office is its UCC Department in Carson City. The state moved UCC work into a new online platform called ORION. If you used SilverFlume for business filings, you already have the login.
The wider office is in the Nevada office guide. This page deals with liens. For the basics, see our UCC search guide and the UCC-1 filing guide.
How do you search Nevada UCC records?
The UCC Filings page sends you to ORION, where you can electronically file an initial financing statement, an amendment, an information statement and a search and copy request. The search request is the UCC-11, called an Information Request in the fee table.
Log in with the same username and password you use for SilverFlume. There is a UCC information page with tips for first-time users, including how to import filings in bulk.

How much does a Nevada UCC search cost?
An online UCC-11 request is $30.00. By mail it is $60.00. Copies are $2.00 per page by either route, and certifying a copy costs $20.00 on a mailed request.
Run a separate request if you need to check another spelling of the debtor name.
How do you file a UCC-1 in Nevada?
- Download or use the national form only. The office accepts the standard UCC1, with addenda if needed.
- Pick your route. Online through ORION is $30.00.
- If you mail it, send it to the UCC Department in Carson City. One or two pages cost $60.00, and three to 20 pages cost $90.00.
- Add $2.00 for each additional debtor name.
- Add the special fees if they apply: a public finance transaction filed by mail is $90.00, and a manufactured home transaction is $60.00.
A page beyond the twentieth is $2.00 each. Public finance and manufactured home filings are listed as not available online.
Can you get it faster?
Online filings are the quickest. The office says most online transactions are processed the same day for no extra charge.
For mailed work, three expedite tiers exist. A 24 hour expedite is $125.00 and a two hour expedite is $500.00. There is also a one hour tier. Expedite for copies is priced by the number of pages.
What is unusual about Nevada UCC filings?
You can fax a filing or send it by email as well as mail it. The catch is payment. The office does not accept card details by email, and only a Trust Account can pay for emailed filings.
The fee table says the filing and search forms must be the national forms. If you want a hand preparing a filing, you can ask our private filing service. State fees are separate, and you can file with the Secretary of State yourself.
