Get filing help

Tell us the state and what you need. We reply by email with the steps, what the state charges and our price, before any work starts.

Step 1 of 4

What do you need done?
Where is the company?

Do the owners live in the United States?

A few details

Anything else you need?

Where should we reply?

This is a private service, not a state office. We reply by email with what we can do and our price before any work starts. State filing fees are separate and go to the state. You can always file yourself, free of our help, on the state's own website.

What happens after you send it

You stay in control. Nothing is filed and nothing is charged until you have our written price and say yes. If you would rather do it yourself, each state's office page on this site links the official portal and lists the state fee.

What each request covers

  • Form an LLC or a corporation. We prepare the state's formation document, file it with the office you choose and send you the approved copy. Tell us if you also need a registered agent or an EIN.
  • File my annual report. We file the yearly or two-yearly report your state requires, with the details you confirm, and send the receipt.
  • Get a certificate of good standing. We order the state's certificate, by whatever name the state uses, once the company record is current.
  • Change my registered agent. We file the state's change form and check the record afterwards.
  • Dissolve my company. We tell you which filings your state wants and file the dissolution once the company is up to date.

For owners outside the United States

Anyone can own a US company. If no owner lives in the US, the company still needs a registered agent with a street address in the state, and the owner usually needs an EIN from the IRS to open a bank account. Say so in step two and we include those steps in our reply.

Questions

Is this the Secretary of State?

No. This is a private service and we are not affiliated with any state office. Every filing we help with is one you can also make yourself on the state's website.

How much does it cost?

Two parts. The state's own fee, which is the same whoever files, and our service price, which we quote by email before you decide. Nothing is charged by sending this form.

Can you help if I live outside the United States?

Yes, tell us in the form. Owners abroad often also need a registered agent, an EIN and a way to open a bank account, and we explain the options.

How fast will you reply?

We answer by email. If a state deadline is close, say so in the message so we can tell you straight away whether it can still be met.

What happens to my details?

They go to our team by email and stay in our lead records. We use them only to answer your request. Our privacy page explains the rest.
